Kevin Light BA (Hons) Dip LA MLI Dip TP Principal Landscape Architect/Director

Experience: 10 years in Local Authority, in Development Control at District Level, County Minerals and Landscape prior to qualifying as a Landscape Architect.  Has now attained 15 years experience in Private Practice experience and is a member of the Urban Design Group. Kevin's local authority background is extremely valuable to project teams where an understanding of Local Plan Procedure and the Development Control process can assist in effective submissions and Planning Consents. Project work includes; large-scale master planning for new for settlements, mineral and restoration schemes, landscape and visual assessment, writing design briefs, representations and expert witness statements at public inquiry, and co-ordinating Environmental Impact Assessments.

Michael Davies BA (Hons) Dip LA MLI Principal Landscape Architect/Director

Experience: 15 years experience in private practice in the UK, (9 years at Director level).  Projects include large scale commercial landscape design and master planning for mixed-use developments, new settlements, business parks, residential and leisure, golf courses, redundant mineral sites, expert witness at public enquiry, co-ordinating Environmental Impact Assessments and contract administration.  Mike is responsible for managing the project work in South Wales and the southwest, where we have a growing presence and includes large scale projects such as the Dragon International Film Studios Bridgend and the regeneration of Llanwern Steel Works. 

Miles Gray BA (Hons) Dip MLI Senior Landscape Architect

Experience: 13 years working in major UK Landscape Practices.  He has worked for the company since 1994 providing project support to the directors.  A strong team player he runs a wide portfolio of projects across the UK for DLA, covering landscape design and build projects, with strong skills in contract supervision/management and detailed design.
